Although the Website has not been updated nearly as frequently as I had hoped I have been very busy with other projects which left me little time to look after the site.
Work on "Sweet Pea" got slower and slower and eventually I realised the reason for this was that I just had no space to work. The original workshop was a 8ft. x 6ft. shed and housed a lathe, mill and drilling machine as well as a bench and all my hand tools. The CNC machines were in the unheated garage and were showing slight signs of rust.
One day when visiting a friend he showed me his new shed which had just been erected. I was very impressed by the quality of it and visited the dealers ( Gillies & MacKay ) to view their range of buildings. One advantage of this company is that they will build to order or modify any of their buildings to a customers requirements. As the site available for the shed was only a few feet longer than the shed itself I had them modify the standard building by puting the door in the side instead of the end of the shed as in the standard build. Delivery was promised for 10 weeks from the date of the order. This seemed a long wait at the time but as the delivery date got nearer panic set in!.

Fortunately I was able to call on a few friends to give a hand with the removal of the machine tools and the demolition of the old shed. Here Tom and Jim are hard at work while I relax and take some photos. Eventually all the shed pieces were dismantled and in the photo below you can see it on the grass awaiting collection by its new owner
